Our Story & Legacy
Meet the Owners: A Legacy of Craftsmanship
At Atlantic Craftsman, “family-owned and operated” isn’t just a label, it’s our history and our future. Our story began in 1974, when Joe’s father founded the company as a local home remodeling business built on integrity and hard work. Growing up in the trade, Joe joined his father’s side early on. While working on various job sites, he noticed a significant gap in the community: Hampton Roads lacked dedicated, reliable local roofers. Joe pivoted the company’s focus to meet that need, and the business took off! Knowing that long-term success is built on teamwork, Joe brought in the next generation to help steer the company. Today, his daughter, Kaylin, and son-in-law, Nick, provide the trusted leadership necessary to eventually carry our legacy forward as the next generation of Atlantic Craftsman.
